I'll have to vent about this one later, but for now enjoy the video.

Foxy Lady.

The Louis Vuitton Monogram Denim Sunrise bag...
Personally I love this bag and the foxtail charm that goes along with it. Strange accessories such as this are applauded for originality. The colors are so vibrant and fun, which is perfect for spring and even if you don't like the furry foxtail, the bag is gorgeous! The color that fades from the bottom to the top is beautiful. You either love it or you hate it, but I think its such a pretty bag and the foxtail is just for fun. This is fashion and its ok to be a little weird sometimes, as long as you WORK IT. So if Mark Jacobs wants to add a foxtail to a bag, as random as it seems, he totally can!

OH! wedding bells.
Deep Breath for this one, you might just have to sit down. Although Im guessing your already sitting down if your looking at my blog from your computer right now. In that case here it goes...
To some of you this news may not be easy to swallow but fashion model, Lara Stone, is officially off the market. Thats right, Lara Stone is now ENGAGED! Congratulations to her and David Williams, I didn't see that one coming.

So what do you guys think? Will it last?

I got the poison.
I Don't Like Mondays

I'm obsessed with model, Lindsey Wixson. She is everywhere right now and I can't get enough of her and her pouty little lips. Her look is so interesting and I'm in love.
The shirt above is fantastic! There is something so beautiful about fabric being simplified or broken down into its most degradable looking state. Its interesting to see something so very structured look delicate and almost fragile. Very pretty.

Jessica Stam

(Found this interview of Jessica Stam on Modelinia)
Doll-faced Dior model Jessica Stam recently told the press that everyone should own a flannel shirt. Not surprising for a girl who grew up on a farm in Ontario, Canada. But now that she’s posing for big name ad campaigns and walking down the runways for today’s hottest designers, it’s obvious that Jessica has come a long way from the simpler life of those rolling pastures.
Who are your favorite designers?
I love Nicolas Ghesquière of Balenciaga. Alber Elbaz. John Galliano. John Galliano, in my opinion, is one of the most talented designers. He’s just a genius at what he does. Designing, coming up with a concept for a show. He’s an absolute mastermind.
Best jeans?
Marc by Marc Jacobs jeans. It’s interesting, oddly enough, because he’s not really known for his jeans. And I love Habitual. Acne. I like every cut. Skinny, wide-leg, boot cut—all of it.
What things in your closet would you never throw away?
I have this… I don’t even know what you’d call it, this old camisole? A silk beigy pink cardigan by Dries Van Noten that I hardly ever wear anymore, but I’ll never throw away. I’ll never throw away my Louboutin pumps—any of them. And I will never throw away this beat up old gray sweatshirt from an ex-boyfriend of mine. We’re still friends.
What do you need to throw out?
I really need get rid of old shoes that I never wear. I have way too many shoes. And jeans. I have to do a spring-cleaning.
What era would you want to bring back?
The seventies. I love the jeans from back then, the wide-leg bell-bottoms. The headbands. The tank tops.
Who is your style icon?
Jane Birkin.
Your favorite store?
Barneys has it all. One store, one stop.

A day of dreaming of Fashion and Paris.

It was my first time ever being in Lucie’s apartment, before we had only met at restaurants and shooting locations. I discovered Lucie about a year ago when she contacted the agency for girls. I was impressed by her work and interested in the fact that she was a new and upcoming photographer from France. Her place was full of interesting toys and trinkets that showed a very playful side to her. When you first walk in you see a huge sewing table, where she claims that only her husband knows how to sew. He sews and makes his own pants!! Which I still thought to be pretty impressive, and on the wall opposite to that were several surfboards.
We sat across from each other and talked of fashion and how the industry is doing right now. She encouraged my thoughts of going to London for Fashion Week next go around. “There is more work here than there is in London and Paris.” she said as she started to open a small brown box. “It seems as though there are fewer jobs there, but even more people who need and want them.” When she opened the box I saw that it was full of chocolate truffles. I thought to myself “Oh great, here goes eating healthy today.” The chocolates were from her hometown Albi, France. I am telling you with all honesty that it was truly the best chocolate I have ever had in my life. I did manage to gain self-control, but seriously… I could have eaten the entire box. Recently she has been getting published in several of the online magazines that are out there now.
This led to us debating the pros and cons of the existence of online magazines, or lack of. For me there is nothing like buying the newest issue of my favorite magazines and turning the pages and having it in my hands. It’s yours to keep and you can truly admire it for what its worth and all the talent found inside. The words that are printed that will always be there, not to be lost in cyberspace. It’s easy for anyone to just start their own online magazine and call it whatever and put whoever they want in it. The good thing is that more people will see it if its online. With the economy being as bad as it is I am seeing magazines disappearing one by one. Enough of that though this is a topic that could go on forever and we all know all about it already.
I was having my usual afternoon coffee cravings so we left her place and walked to the nearest coffee shop. It was such a pretty day. There was a nice breeze in the air and it was only 75 degrees out. As we were walking I noticed her bag and flipped out! It was the Denim version of the Brenda bag by Alexander Wang. I remember seeing it in black and loving it, as I do all of his bags, but I had never seen it in denim before. I loved it.
I could go on forever but I’ll spare you from all of the rambling…

Xoxo
