Self-Service... isn't that masturbation...?
With my laptop in front of me, ready to work and blog, the words just weren’t coming to me. While feeling completely uninspired I gave into temptation and decided to drive over to the Barnes and Noble bookstore near my apartment to get Starbucks. One Venti soy white mocha please! With an extra shot, it’s going to be a long night. With my coffee in hand I felt a little better but I was still feeling down. Before I could leave I had to make my rounds over to the magazines. I was very disappointed when I took a quick glance and all I could see was the usual, nothing of interest. Until, as if the skies had parted, I noticed a very large book sitting up high on the shelf, covered by several other magazines. In Perfect condition was the one and only Fall/Winter Self Service magazine of 2009. I squealed. Once I gained composure I grabbed the magazine and headed straight to the check out line. I had such a big smile on my face while standing in line. I looked as if I was little girl on Christmas morning receiving a “My Size Barbie” or as if I just stepped into my very first pair of Manolo Blahniks. Just the inspiration I needed.
Now Im off to do some reading, it’s a really big magazine. Good thing I got that Venti!

Lara Stone spent four weeks in rehab earlier this year. Usually it wouldn't surprise me to hear such news, but I didn't expect it from Lara who once said, I never wanted to be that model on drugs, the sort who gives head for a line of coke." I really commend her for being able to speak out about it and let everyone know publicly in the December issue of Vogue, that she was able to get help for it. "I am a complete alcoholic. It used to be so easy to say to someone, 'Get me a bottle of vodka,' and they'd run and get it. Going to rehab was the best decision I ever made. Okay all my little lovelies, you are in for a real treat. I'm always excited when it comes to doing these small little interviews of people that I admire. Jamie Nelson is some one who amazes me with everything she does and I have been meaning to post this for quite some time now. Tomorrow is a going to be a busy day in Miami.
Meeting with a photographer for lunch to talk about shooting and then after that going to look for inspiration and locations. Then afterwards Im meeting up with Stefani so we can head over to MC2 Model Management for a meeting. What else can I squeeze into my day?

I was so excited for this editorial to come out. Waiting for the finished product was killing me. The team was perfect and everyone was on the same page with how the shoot should go and the style of it all. The models worked it, Marcela was a treat to see in action once again, and the styling by Pipi Loose was amazing. Here is a sneak peak of the shoot and you can also see some of the behind the scenes footage in the video below. Let me know what you guys think.

First we had heard of rumors and then it was all in the news, the Jimmy Choo and H&M collaboration is finally here. Affordable Jimmy Choo footwear and apparel can now be found at the all mighty H&M. The line is genius and almost to good to be true. I woke up this morning to E! News and they were talking about the line and showing several different pieces from the collection. I wanted to jump out of bed right then and head straight to H&M! Instead I am here in Miami, where unfortunately there isn't an H&M, and I am writing this blog and looking at pictures of all the pieces that I want.
Considering the fact that today is the day that the line officially dropped, I imagine that the stores will be packed with fashionistas of all kinds. Can you imagine the Bryant Park location, it must be out of control.

My friend turns to me and says, "You will love this studded swim suit..." Once I glanced over to see what he was talking about, my jaw dropped. I want it so bad, or is it just her. Not only is the styling totally my thing but I'm loving the model. Work it girl! Sorry if I'm a little late on the band wagon but I have never seen this magazine before. Something I will keep my eye out for in the future.

Bad Romance.
OMG, I JUST watched the Bad Romance video by Lady Gaga and she is crazy. I loved it. So amazing to see such good fashion in a music video. She is out of control and has out done herself once again. When I saw that she was wearing Alexander McQueen, a smile of much approval stretched across my face.
