Summer is almost over, and it's a good chance that your locks have paid the price for your fun in the sun. Before you transition your golden highlights into warm, rich tones for fall, show your hair some love with an at-home deep conditioning treatment. Here are a few of my personal favorites:
Bumble & Bumble Creme de Coco Masque LUSH H'Suan Wen Hua (Beware!!! It smells like ass, but it rocks.) LUSH R&B (Amazing AND smells great!) Redken All Soft Heavy Cream Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating Mask Kérastase Masque Oléo-Curl Intense (Great for dry, wavy to curly hair.)I recommend shampooing your hair, then apply a generous amount of treatment from ends to roots. Thoroughly coat your hair then wrap in clear, cellophane or put on a shower cap. Next, put a warm towel around your head to further activate the conditioner. Leave it on for at least 30 min. Rinse and style as usual.
There is a God... and she is indeed a woman. Engulfed with nostalgia, the Spice Girls reunion performance at the closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympics has me as giddy as my former nine year old fan-girl self. Geri, Victoria, Emma, Melanie C., and Melanie B. all took the stage together and performed, "Spice Up Your Life" and "Wannabe." It was an incredible performance. I can only imagine how amazing it was live.
I just made it home from my crazy road trip to Alabama & Illinois. It was a really great time, but I'm so happy to be back in Florida and out of the car! Road trips are cool and all, but they would be so much better if I had a big hippie van with a bed in the back.
As for Holly, she's staying in her NY apartment for a couple of months. She will be down in Miami off and on for work, but in NY she's working on a really exciting project... wish I could share more details, but you'll just have to stick around to find out.
