"Sunday in the Park"

Think between the wars and between the sheets. Traditional British tweeds,simple little dresses and racy underwear appear in English country house tableaux that might have figured in Gosford Park or Atonement.

This might be one of my most favorite editorials that I have come across in a while. Its so beautiful and features of coarse one of my favorite models, Lara Stone. If i could crawl into the pages of this magazine and into this story I would. Mert Atlas and Marcus Piggott do it best.

On this episode of Nylon street style...
So I was walking along Spring street while in NY and I saw these kids with a Mic and a camera run past me... I was like whatever this is NY thats just normal behavior. They were going in the same direction I was and they stopped to interview this girl and I noticed that they were with NYLON tv. So i found the video and thought aw thats so cute im standing right beside the obsessed thrifter who is wearing the "laced cape thing". Although you cant see me in this video AT ALL i thought it would be cool to post. The Alexander Wang intern is by far my favorite out of them all. Love the onesie!

"Color Blocked"

I first met Regina here in Miami when she and some of the other NY models from MC2 came down for Art Basel last year. It was actually cold here in Miami and she was all wrapped up in this beautiful CHANEL sweater. Regina was flown into town just to come to the Art Basel event and to the dinner afterwards. I was like WOW thats nice, wish that could be me! Ever since we have tried to keep in touch. She is just one of those girls who is so nice and polite when you meet her and not to mention she has a really cool look. Meet the newest winner of the V Magazine/FORD Model Search LEA GROESLAND Photographed by Hasse Nielsen, Lea wears a jumpsuit by Alexander Wang.

Over 6,000 contestants entered this year’s V A MODEL search with V Magazine & Ford Models but it’s winner Lea Groesland, with her regal face, piercing blue eyes and newly minted Ford contract, who emerges as fashion’s next star.  Lea is 15-years-old and is from Oslo, Norway.  Lea will be going on her first go-sees for the upcoming NY Fashion Week – watch out for her on the catwalks of some high profile shows come September!

Hair Stylist . Staci Child

Skinny Intern interviews hair stylist Staci Child. 
I was lucky enough back in February to see this women work her magic on a shoot she was doing with photographer Nicholas Routzen in his huge apartment/studio in Brooklyn. Staci is not your regular industry girl, there is a sense of realness about her and I noticed this first thing upon meeting her. Ever since then I had been wanting to get an interview with her and Get the Skinny on what Staci Child is really all about! How did it all begin?

Do you have any kind of rituals before a shoot.
to make sure Im out of bed on time
How did it all start?
well i always wanted to do hair, I used to cut my friends when I was 13 and spend my lunch breaks braiding them all, then I left school as soon as I was legal, and got a job in one of the best salons, and they took me on a photoshoot, and I was hooked
Favorite quote?
"show me the money" haha Im watching jerry Maguire right now
but the real one is
"To the world you might be one person,
But to one person you just might be the world".
When did you get your first tattoo?
I was 22, it was the chanel logo on my left arm, which is now a black heart , I just got 2 new ones on friday... and I love them

What has been your favorite shoot thus far in your career?
I usually enjoy most of my shoots, but my favorite to date is probably shot the head 4 guys from the hells angels, for New York magazine, was the first time they had been shot since Irving Penn shot them in 1967

right now Im starting a line of hair accessories called "Love Staci"

Paris Vogue - July

So feminine and beautiful. I love this editorial. I have flipped through this issue a few times now but today I felt like this editorial just stopped me in my tracks. There is just this sense of playfulness and eroticism among the pages of this editorial shot by photographer Walter Pfeiffer.  The model is Magdalena Frackowiak who has been one of my favorites for a while now. If you noticed I featured her not to long ago in the Greg Kadel shoot for Numero magazine. She is super skinny, tall, and her jaw line is to die for. I really like the make up too, very cat like. MEOW ;)

Anna Wintour - London Fashion week

I just read that Anna Wintour is actually going to be attending London Fashion Week in September. You would think well duh of coarse she will be attending, but she hasn't attended Fashion Week in London since 2007. "She can't not go this year since Burberry Prorsum, Jonathan Saunders, Matthew Williamson, Pringle of Scotland, and others are returning to show in London after seasons showing elsewhere."-Nymag.com. Also I cant help but to mention how excited I am to see The September Issue! 

Model or Role Model

Once again the beautiful model Roza Abdurazakova strikes a pose for photographer Julius Gregorio. I love these pictures, she is totally giving it to the camera and showing us the bad girl attitude thats within. Intriguing everyone with her sex appeal, she pulls off an even edgier look than before. Roza left Miami this week to go spend time in NY for jobs and castings. The soon to be 19yr old seems to be unstoppable! As her career kicks off into high gear everyone has been wanting to shoot her. I dont blame them, she is not only amazing in her photos but a real pleasure to work with and be around. "see models do eat!" claims Roza while chowing down on M&M's and chips in the dressing room before a shoot. Despite the junk food Roza still has that perfect model figure that we all want. 

There no place like base...

Favorite store in Miami is a magazine store called Base...actually im pretty they sale other cool stuff too like apparel, music, and books but I go straight for the big blue sparkly chair and park myself right in front of the shelf of magazines. I usually find the really good magazines there that I can not find anywhere else.  The store has its own signature smell, its so good! I think the fragrance that you smell when you walk in  is a combination of their candles,cologne, and the essence of "cool" leaking out from the walls in that place. Have to say I visit this store a couple of times a week.

Everyone who works there is awesome and very nice. Great customer service and an overall great vibe to the place. Just wanted to say thanks by blogging about you!
