its electric.

After painting my nails fun electric colors that reminded me of the 90's I felt like showing off this editorial styled by the lovely Katie Shillingford. The two go hand in hand with how I feel right now, bright and playful! Although these photos remind me of a time when I was super crazy about dying my hair bright orange and pink in "like" the fifth grade, I'd like to think now that maybe my mom thought I was being some-what innovative instead of a complete weirdo. How could she let me out of the house with hair like that... on second thought after seeing this editorial I might be tempted to bust out some sort of cropped neon t-shirt or swing by the nearest American Apparel.  Now all thats missing is some glow sticks and this model is ready for a rave.

I feel like Roberto Cavalli might be suggesting a bit of a 90's vibe too by using these cold vibrant colors for his Spring 2010 campaign.

its so sad that you live your life vicariously via the internet. well...sad, no. Filled with mass amounts of hilarity, yes. I wonder if your computer died, would you? Nice thought. By reading your blog just once, I (as well as many others, I'm sure) have found you to be disgustingly vain and shallow, with no real reason to be. At least if you weren't so average I could let it slide without critical comment. But GOD. Try reading a book before you try writing, and stop making that dumb face you make in all of your pictures. It's real easy to photoshop a cock into each one of them. But yet again, if you took away those pictures, much less this blog, what would we all have to laugh at?

Wow, that is some attitude on a reader who's read the blog only ONCE, but has so much to say. I guess his momma didn't breast feed him when he was a baby. Lack of nutrients in the brain, or how do they say it in the scientific world..."CHEMICAL IMBALANCE". You must be a single man (cause of the words/visuals you use). And if your not, Im sure your still SINGLE AND ALONE, nevertheless cause I couldn't imagine anyone 1st) responding to a Blog post on NEW YEARS EVE at 2:38 a.m. (who the hell is on the "INTERNET" on New Years Eve reading a Blog, as I quote how much you supposedly don't live on the internet superhighway). 2nd) cause if you were a respectable human being, you would hold your hateful words to yourself and leave the site. Instead, you spent enough time browsing on the blog to look at each of her photos and read several of the posts to give you a consensus on how you feel about the blog. Why stay and read more? It sure isn't your first time leaving hateful posts on blogs as you seem so comfortable on writing this comment on a blog you've only read ONCE. I guess you like to talk down to people the same way your parents did to you. It's cool, we'll forgive you and use it as an excuse, cause your an AVERAGE human being too and we all make mistakes cause we are all also "AVERAGE".

I say all of this as a reader of SKINNY INTERN and as a person with respect for others. If you don't have anything good to say, leave it alone. And if you can't control your feelings because of your "chemical imbalance to hate others", why don't you do the world a favor and go cry in the same corner where your parents left you as a child.

p.s. YOU NEED GOD. I'll pray for you.

Wow. I just love how ballsy anonymous posters are. It's pretty easy for insecure types to hide behind the mask of "anonymous". For someone who claims to have read this blog once, you seem to have built up some animosity against skinny rather quickly. Having opinions is one thing, but saying hateful words anonymously is pretty cowardly.

The level of immaturity is astounding. To read such hateful untrue words reminded me of 14 year olds in chat rooms confidently hiding behind there computers. Kristin is a great friend to me and in no way shallow or average. Grow up please.

obviously the anonymous reader knows nothing about fashion, I like that this is a fashion blog, but, the insults being thrown around aren't anything about fashion at all. Something along the lines of "you don't know fashion blah blah blah" (which isn't true at all). So tell me, why would someone who knows nothing about fashion spend their time reading a fashion blog? Boredom? Obviously their life isn't being so filled with friends and things to do, which means they are probably accomplishing nothing because anyone with any drive or a life or MATURITY or had anything to do all would realize that the comment makes them look fucking retarded oh and like 16, please if you're a high school student, which it sounds like you are stick to your immature friends because you'll be the same person when you're 22 & greatly made fun of by the people that know you. And once again, "makes you vain and shallow" ITS A GOD DAMNED FASHION BLOG YOU FUCKING IDIOT, what else would there be for her to talk about. There are plenty of people who love reading this blog, I've seen the numbers to prove it and they are climbing everyday. I would be proud to be apart of skinny intern. At least she has goals and aspirations and wont let anything stop her and the motivation to achieve said goals. Pus plenty of people spend their times writing blogs it's called 2010 and networking bitch. Obviously your from a small town, you never went anywhere with your life and your extremely bitter that someone doesn't care what you think and they are doing what it takes to do the things they want and make them happy. Please commenter, grow the fuck up, don't look at the FASHION blog any more because you have no idea what the fuck you're talking about and to all of the skinny intern readers you made yourself look like a giant bitter failure at life, way to go.

Not to mention this person much be so jealous of Kristin and considering they probably have every reason to be its pretty disgusting how it's just spewing out of them.

& I agree about this "Anonymous" poster assuming that they are so much better or smarter or whatever, interesting that they feel the need to and find the time to tell her but to do so all anonymously? I think that, my anonymous friend, is filled with mass amounts of "hilariouty", which is actually spelled 'hilarity', to everyone else. :)
