Hello rockstars! 

 Ok, I have a confession... I am super excited about the new Courtney Love collection, Never the Bride, that will soon debut on Net-A-Porter.com.

Growing up in a very unconventional family, where art and music were heavily encouraged, and report cards were tossed to the trash, I sort of always looked to rockstars and models as my role models. - It's okay, despite the chaotic upbringing, I think I turned out pretty decent. I was always drawn to the darker side, the bad girl side, and the bad girl in Courtney Love has always been a guilty pleasure of mine.

Navoh's blogger event.

Last night's event was a so fun. Thank you to everyone who came out and joined me for a sneak peak preview of Navoh's fall collection. We got to see amazing new colors and textures from the affordable luxury brand and learned that Navoh is very excited to start a blogger affiliate program. Bloggers a part of this program will have the opportunity to receive some pretty awesome perks.

The Makeup Artist and The Madness

Suck in your guts and take care of your toes ladies because Swim Week is officially here. In less than 24 hours the first show for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim Miami will take place, and yours truly will be one of the participating makeup artists. 

Lisa Blue is the first designer to display her collection, and it appears to be one monster of a show with 43 (!!!) models walking the cat walk. Normally shows have between 15-22 models.

MBFW Swim takes place in Miami from July 19th to the 23rd. It's by the same crew as NYFW, so you know it's gonna' be good. Expect to see beautifully tanned, tall goddesses with curves that kill. As for the beauty department, beachy, wavy hair and beautiful sun-kissed makeup will dominate the runways.
